This is a piece of clip lock flooring installed over a concrete joint that the termites located and ate. Interesting note look at the way termites forage in different directions looking for other food sources. I think this makes for a better understanding of termite behaviour pattens and makes cool termite art as well.
In the three photos above, you can see that the termites are using the Telstra box and wires as a highway into the house.
They are tricky little critters and will find a way into your house using any means available.

We used Gympie Termite and Pest when we first brought our house. They found termites in trees behind house and exterminated, they were also very thorough when checking all parts of the house and yard during the pest inspection. We also used them for a 12 month follow up. Great company to deal with. Can’t recommend enough, it can be hard to find quality services, but rest assured, Gympie Termite and Pest will do a great job. They were also very considerate of the animals we have on our property.
We had had a huge ant issue this year, they came and sprayed and baited. Baits worked great, ants are now controlled.
